Rural development agency

 

Founded in 2009, Rural Development Agency is a Lao non-profit organization based in Vientiane.

 

RDA works with CCL in Luang Namtha province to implement the Supa project. RDA provides technical assistance on sanitation issues within the rural communities and operates on total sanitation.


 Agronomes et Vétérinaires sans frontière

 

Agronomes et Vétérinaires Sans Frontières (AVSF) is a French association which operates  since 1977 to support family farming wordlwide. AVSF is committed next to CCL in the province of Oudomxay to improving farmers' families livelihoods  and reducing poverty.

 

AVSF provides technical assistance to CCL on health care, breeding and animals care through training curiculum within the rural communities of Oudomxay.


Cooperative for Assistance and Relief Everywhere

 

 

Since 1993, CARE has provided a number of long-term development programs in Laos , focusing on improving livelihoods, food security and community development in remote rural areas. CCL is working hand-to-hand with CARE in the province of Phongsaly to set up climate resilience strategies for rural communities (see NU-PCR) project and in Luang Namtha province to impprove the nutritional status and the food security of the local population (see SUPA project).


Sustainable Agriculture & Environment Development Assoc.

 

Founded in 1991, SAEDA  is a local non-profit association which works to support vulnerable communities by promoting sustainable agriculture practices, and improving their capacity and awareness to safeguard the environment.

 

SAEDA worked in synerggy with CCL on the RFEG project in Xiengkhouang province to improve the livelihoods of smallhoders' families, ensuring them a better access to food. SAEDA has expertise on chemical pesticide risk reduction and implemented sustainable agriculture techniques within the rural communities of Xiengkhouang.
